APPLE Maps sets up for providing COVID-19 Testing Locations...

COVID-19 the deadly virus is hitting the world in all possible ways whether its life, lifestyle, economy, etc. 
The whole world is in lockdown period as a fight against this deadly virus. Governments & health agencies are trying their best or say more than they do on normal days. 

Tech giants Apple and Google are also making everything possible to ease the life and helping officials in this tough time of coronavirus pandemic.

Recently, Companies announced to join hands and make collective efforts to help governments and health agencies to reduce the spread of the virus.

Making a move in this effort, Apple has updated the Apple Maps with information about the testing centers.  Now, in order to display the testing locations details Apple Maps are seeking information from healthcare providers, labs and other businesses.

A webpage is introduced by Apple on its Maps Service for adding COVID-19 testing locations along with a CSV file that is supposed to be filled out and sent back via email.
The Team then review the file and contact the sender to cross verify the provided information.

Other than this, people can also share the locations of COVID-19 testing locations by tapping and "add a missing Place" feature in maps. When information is uploaded on Apple Maps, COVID0-19 testing locations will incorporate info like place name, health care provider, website and contact number. The info requested also askes for details like testing location require a referral, which will help people before visit planning and also schedule an appointment.

Other than this effort, it was recently noticed that Apple made changes in Apple Maps in order to support food delivery and medical services during COVID-19.

As per the reports by 9to5mac, Apple makes the adjustments in order of Apple Maps categories. With these adjustments, the Apple Map users will find Grocery stores at the top followed by a new category of food delivery.The non-important categories in the Apple Map are shifted towards the bottom.
