Whatsapp to increase Group Video Calls Limit : Latest Features

Due to novel coronavirus pandemic, apps likes Zoom and Google Duo have become overnight as nearly 100% companies adopted work from home facilities.

But Now Zoom app is facing serious issues for its privacy policies.

Many questions are arising that whether 

• Is it save to use zoom?
• Is it 100% surity that our data is safe which we are sharing over the app?
• and many more.

But now the People`s most trusted and most used internet text messaging service provider "Whatsapp" is working on a solution to this.

We all know Whatapp allows a  Video group calls to its users but the limit it set is only Four users.

 As of Now due to COVID-19 Pandemic people all over the world are practicing Social Distancing to cut out the chain of spreading of Corona, Whatsapp`s latest Android beta suggests that limit of video group calls may be increased in near future.

This step by Whatsapp is the need of time as its competitors, Zoom and Google Duo allows dozens of users at a time to stay connected.

WABetaInfo, Whatsapp features tracker has shared new feature details that it has seen in Whatsapp v2.20.128 beta and Whatsapp v2.20.129 beta for android version.

The Whatsapp Group Call extension is seen in the v2.20.128 beta version update that has strings whoch suggests the same.Notably this feature hasn`t been rolled out yet, even after the users update their WhatsApp apps to latest version.

As per latest rolled out version, the current group call limit is four users only, while there is no clarity on the number of participants that will allowed on the group call, but it is clearly reportable that it is working on the same roll out feature.

For sure all the users in a group call will need to be using the updated version of Whatsapp to enjoy the new increased limits.

For a time being , there is no official word when this feature will be commercially rolling out.

The tracker also pops up a warning that this beta version of whatsapp update brings a few issues in group call. So this is advicable not to update to this version if you are using group calling feature frequently.Earlier the same feature was seen in beta version of iOS "WhatsApp v2.20.50.23".

Other than this, WhatsApp has released another beta version for Android as described earlier- Whatsapp v2.20.129, which brings a new Call header that informs calls are secured with end-to-end-encryption.
