In a recent announcement, Instagram has announced that the Creators will be able to make money through Instagram LIVE and IGTV videos. The Introduction of Badges in LIVE will be the source through which creators can earn money from the LIVE sessions.
As per reports, the badges will appear next to the person`s name throughout the live video and fans, who have purchased the badged in the LIVE Session will stand out in comments and unlock the additional features that include placement on a creator`s list of badge holders and access to a special heart.
The Badges will begin in testing from next month will a small group of creators and businesses after that it will expand across US, Brazil, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Mexico over the coming months.
For IGTV advertisements will begin from the next week and the platform said,"We want to support the creators by sharing advertising revenue with them for the content they are already making".
IGTV ads will appear initially when people click to watch IGTV videos from previews in their feed. The video ads will be for mobile and up to 15 seconds long.
