Mahindra’s KUV 100NXT has been around in our
market since late 2017. Now, with the new emissions deadline approaching fast i.e., 31st March 2020, the Indian carmaker has introduced the BS6-compliant petrol
KUV 100NXT in three trim-levels, which are expected to reach showrooms
in the coming weeks.
Prices for the upgraded model starts at
The notable change in the new model is the BS6 compliant 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which is expected to produce the same 83hp and 115Nm of torque as its BS4 counterpart. The motor also continues to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
In terms of styling, no changes have been made to the KUV 100NXT, when compared to the previous models, as the exteriors still feature the same grille design, front and rear bumpers, faux skid plates and 15-inch alloy wheels (on the top-spec trim level) as the previous models.
Coming to the interiors, the dashboard design remains same, as does the equipment on offer. The K8 version continues to come with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with GPS navigation), a multi-information display, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, driver’s seat height adjust, and a cooled glovebox.
What is worth noting is that, though the previous model was offered as both, a 5- or 6-seater configuration, the BS6-compliant model is only offered with the 6 Seat configuration.
