The Major Smartphone Brand Oppo said that it had successfully tested the trials of voice and video calls solely on the 5G network.
As per company`s experience, oppo says the trial will pave the way for high quality 5G experience to consumers.
MediaTek and Ericsson are the other partners with oppo in this trial.

Oppo said they have made a special technique VoNR for the trails of 5G Network.

VoNR is essentially a calling service that exclusively uses 5G band. As per oppo, company says VoNR delivers lower latency, better sound and picture quality compared to older generation infrastructure. VonR (Voice/Video on New Radio) calls on a customized phones operated through MediaTek`s latest Dimensity 1000 series Processor. Ericsson (Radio System) provided the end-to-end 5G standalone (SA) network for the trails to proceed.
This joint test was successfully carried out under the 5G SA network environment provided by Ericsson at its headquaters in Stockholm, Sweden.
