And while Hyundai has now dropped the 1.6-litre diesel engine in India, the 1.4-litre motor continues to power the SUV. But before we go any further, let's clarify that we are comparing the petrol variants of the car to the diesel options, that offer 10-horsepower and 15-horsepower more, respectively. Compared to the Creta, the company offers three-row seating on its SUV and even in its diesel version, the Hyundai Creta diesel is miles ahead of the Suzuki SUV in terms of practicality. If we were to get one of the upcoming Hyundai Creta Diesel in India, the main choice will be between Hyundai's diesel and the imported Maruti Suzuki SUV, namely the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
