Last Year their are rumours that Apple might done with the ports on the iphones and might go ahead with the Portless phones. But till now this hasn`t happened.
Recent launched iPhone SE 2020 has similar structure, ports as the previous iPhones. But the ditching of Ports from the Apple iPhones surfaced online again.
This it is for iPhone 12. Apple, Tech Giant supposed to launch the iPhone in the September-October period and it is most probably will be portless.
From where these Rumours Arises? Will iPhone 12 will be Portless?
Jon Prosser, Tech Analyst, has a decent record of predicting Apple Announcement correctly said, iPhone 12 will not have USB Type-C port and will go completely portless.
Notable that company has already removed the 3.5 mm headphone Jack from its smartphone and it is considered as pretty surity that they would done with the ports also as this allow the Apple to fit a bigger battery and improve elements (water resistance and other sensors) in the smartphones.
Jon Prosser, is not the one who predicted this earlier this year, Ming-Chi-Kuo (Apple Analyst) also predicted the same and said company will do away with ports in 2021 models.
Apple has been moving in the path of going portless quite sometime now, it firstly introduced wireless charging added support for accessories, removed the headphone Jack and introduced USB type-C to Lightening Connector in iPhone 11.
In Older tweets some time Back, Prosser said that Apple`s renewed interest in AirPower will help to push iPhones Portless.
