Things You Need To Know: Kia Carnival
The South Korean Multinational Automotive Manufacturer Kia Motors has launched the Carnival premium MPV at Auto Expo 2020.
Fact: Already reaped success, racking up 3,200 bookings ahead of Launch.
The 2020 Carnival sits above the tried and tested Toyota Innova Crysta.
Seating Layout and Variants:
The Kia Carnival is available in the three Variants: Premium, prestige and Limousine.
It can be with 7,8 or even 9 seats depending upon the variants chosen.
Top-spec Limousine variant can be had with 7-seats only and comes with Kia`s VIP seats, which offer more comfort.
Exterior Design:
The exterior design of the Carnival MPV is subtle and premium. It comes with Kia’s trademark tiger nose grille flanked by projector LED headlamps. Large Ice Cube LED fog lamps give the MPV bucket loads of presence, especially when lit at night. At the side, the Carnival looks like a typical MPV with the only highlight being the chrome plated alloy wheels. Moving on to the rear, the Carnival comes with LED tail lamps and a sleek chrome strip.
Engine Options:
The Kia Carnival can only be had with a 2.2-litre CRDI diesel engine. It puts out 200PS of power and 440Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Unlike the Innova Crysta, the Carnival’s motor sends its power to the front wheels.
Price:
The Kia Carnival is priced from Rs 24.95 lakh and goes up to Rs 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
